Antique Victorian cameo ring featuring the Greek God Hermes from circa 1890. There is an outline of wings near the head of this figure indicating that it represents a mythical figure. Although well loved, this soft shell cameo still has the details of a Greek God. Hermes signifies travel and can also represents a a message or messenger. This ring is fabricated in solid 14kt gold. I love how flat the ring lays and the nice details of leaf like sides that hug the finger. Currently this ring is a size 4.5. The condition is good but does show some wear appropriate for age.
