Amazing whimsical fishing pole and fish brooch from circa 1910-1930's. Such a cute unique pin. Marked for 9ct gold in the back this pin is solid gold for the exception of the enameled fish caught on a line. There is also a pearl on the reel, just love the little detail. The family of this brooch originated in Ireland, this piece is from England made by a company Alabaster & Wilson established in 1887. Condition is excellent, there is no wear to the enameled fish. Looks so cute on a jean jacket just a lovely informal piece.
