Unusual and cool vintage fraternity sweetheart ring from circa 1930. Fabricated and marked for 14kt yellow gold this ring weighs a hefty 5.8 grams. It is a Delta Phi Kappa shield pin that was made for a member's "sweetheart" to wear. The Black shield is enameled with a harp and a triangle with a diamond in the center. The shield is bordered with emeralds and opals with a single ruby on the tip of an arrow that runs through. The Delta Phi Kappa Fraternity is associated with the LDS church and was often attended to by returned missionaries of that faith. The Fraternities insignia changed in the early 1930's to a triangle and a harp making the ring easy to date. The ring is in very good condition and is currently a size 7.5
